Escrow Assistant
Description:
A well-known, fast-paced Law Office located in Central Phoenix has immediate openings for Escrow Assistants!
Job Duties:
- Prepares transaction documents by ordering title reports; completing forms and statements; gathering existing documents. Review titles
- Supports closing transaction by setting appointments; assembling documents; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; answering questions.
- Prepares documents for closing and handles the complete disbursement and follow up of all escrow transactions
- Clear title issues including payoffs, and releases
- Research judgements, and bankruptcies
- Work with Lenders and Mortgage Brokers to fund and disperse files
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years experience as an Escrow Assistant or a minimum of 3 years experience in a related real estate or title field
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Applications
- Must be self-motivated, efficient and organized to be able to handle high-volume workload
- A strong work ethic, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
