Description:
A prescription claims processing company is needing a professional Administrative Assistant to provide support to their company. This position will provide support in all departments and for the President of the company.
Qualifications:
* Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge as an administrative assistant/human resource assistant * A strong written/oral communication skills, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization * Human relation skills to deal with employees, managers and executives * Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments * Proficiency in pc applications - excel, word, powerpoint, outlook and internet
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Provide assistance in coordination of travel arrangements * Provide backup coverage for receptionist * Maintain personnel files, i-9's termed employee files, medical files fmla files for employees * Assist in the recruitment process to include skill testing, personality, cognitive testing, posting of open positions * Assist in the new hire process e.g., paperwork, drug testing, i-9 verification, background checking * Assist in the coordination of company events e.g., picnics, lunches, holiday parties * Order materials for employees * Maintain corporate calendar e.g., time off requests.
