Temporary position with possible opportunity for Temp-to-hire. this skilled professional will be responsible for performing various duties including, but not limited to: - Troubleshoot and manage special sales order situations on a daily basis
- Provide overall customer service and account liaison support
- Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot EDI and other electronic systems
- Compile, maintain and analyze various standard and ad hoc sales, customer issues and other key customer sales account reports
- Maintain various hard copy and electronic files, lists and records
- Identify areas of opportunities or potential problems and proactively make recommendations
- Implement/monitor new/revised processes to ensure continual improvements in efficiencies, communications and customer service levels.
Requirements Include: - College degree in business or related field with related experience in sales and/or marketing support in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with entire cycle of product orders
- Advanced spreadsheet skills; proficiency in windows email systems, ms office products and mainframe based systems (report writing/query skills helpful)
- Solid and effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Solid analytical skills along with ability to plan, organize, multi-task and effectively handle multiple projects while working positively under tight timelines
- Solid follow-up skills
- EDI software experience required
