Administrative Assistant


Description:

Looking for an office support role? Look no further, Lakeshore has teamed up with one of Chicago’s most prestigious parking industry owner who is need of an office assistant. With over thirty years of experience, this individual needs a seasoned administrative assistant to handle all office roles and duties. This position has a heavy concentration on scheduling and calendaring; Microsoft Outlook proficiency is a must. Ideal candidate must enjoy a smaller office setting.

Responsibilities of the Office Assistant will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Execute all administrative assistant duties in a timely manner
  • Calendaring all meetings, conferences, and events
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Greeting guests, answering the telephone, transferring calls to the correct employee, relaying of messages, and writing and editing of correspondence
  • Clerical duties such as the filing, faxing, and scanning of documents
  • Running reports, creating and updating spreadsheets, and preparing presentations
  • Accurately update business database in a timely manner; input and maintenance

 

Qualified candidates for the Office Assistant position will meet the following requirements:

  • 2-3+ years experience of administrative or office support
  • Four year college degree is preferred
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good organization and prioritization skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and good interpersonal skills are essential
