Client Associate/Financial Analyst

Lakeshore is currently recruiting for a Senior Client Service Associate to work for a well known asset management firm in downtown Chicago. Our client is a leading innovator in transparent hedge fund investing. The firm has three billion dollars under management and is known for their extensive manager database. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, polished, energetic, and detail-oriented candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare presentations and other materials at the request of the European sales team. These must be provided promptly and in correct format with necessary compliance and internal sign-offs
- Coordinate and respond to all client requests, keeping sales team informed of progress and copied on all correspondence with the client; this includes all day-to-day existing client requests
- Ensure timely and accurate provision of regular information to clients and sales team ensuring that materials are checked and proof read
- Responsible for coordinating with colleagues to ensure that information is shared between departments with consistency and accuracy
- In all contact with clients, work to position and promote the company professionally and as a quality provider of accurate, high quality information
- Seek opportunities to contribute ideas to the development and structuring products in accordance with information gained in discussion with clients
- Contribute to acquisition of both clients and assets for the sales team by virtue of developing an external reputation for quality
- Will be responsible for additional special projects and duties as assigned
- Must adhere to all company procedures and policies
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics or other related fields
- Three to four years of analyst experience within financial services, ideally working with hedge funds, derivatives, private equity, fund of funds or other alternative investments
- Skilled at data analysis and manipulating data utilizing software such as Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Able to work independently and with minimal direction
- Available to work a flexible schedule, may require long days and weekends
- Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail
- The ideal candidate would be fluent in French, Spanish or Italian but this is not a requirement
This is a direct hire position. The salary range is $45,000 – 50,000 plus a discretionary bonus that will be 0 – 100 % of the base salary as well as a competitive benefits package.
