Enrollment Specialist


Description:

Lakeshore is currently recruiting for an Enrollment Specialist to work for an organization that specializes in helping individuals achieve their educational and career goals.  This organization is one of the world’s leading providers of lifelong education offering programs for children and schools, post-secondary education and professional training.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in utilizing communication skills in a fast-paced, professional environment. 

Responsibilities of the Enrollment Specialist will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Administering a comprehensive system of transcript evaluation for students applying to the online university program
  • Providing preliminary transcript evaluations for students as needed
  • Communicating with transfer prospects, applicants and students to answer questions regarding transfer transcripts
  • Discussing degree completion options and core requirements for majors with prospective and transfer students
  • Working with other college admissions departments to confirm various evaluations and equivalencies
  • Responding to advisors and inquiries from other colleges regarding equivalencies
  • Maintaining regular contact with internal staff concerning equivalencies, student questions and preliminary transcript equivalencies
  • Utilizing industry resources to design efficient and effective transcript tools and products

Qualified candidates for the Enrollment Specialist position will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-2+ years of experience working in an office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Must be a committed team player with the ability to function both independently and as part of a team
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Function efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess mature and professional demeanor
