Right away Lakeshore was up front with me when I was hired. Connie Johnson advised that I sign up with more than one temporary agency so that I’d get more work. She didn’t give me any false promises. When I was hired by other temporary agencies, they made it sound like I could get regular work from them alone and probably get a position for the whole summer. Then they called me only once or twice the entire summer, often not for office-related work.
I’ve also noticed that calls from Lakeshore have been personable, friendly, and professional, while calls from other agencies weren’t very professional. Also, Lakeshore always checks up on me to hear how my assignment is going while other agencies tend not to. I feel like more of a person to Lakeshore and more like a name in a computer to some of the other agencies.
Overall I’ve just had bad experiences with other agencies, but working for Lakeshore has been great. Thank you!
